Many ways exist aimed at creating parental controls for blocking websites and software. This can be sometimes a more effecient way rather then using parental control software but can also may things more cumbersome for other people that are connected to your internet service.

Teenagers are becomming more tech savvy in our highly technological world have quite a lot of knowledge when it comes to using computers, there are many ways people have used to override or disable the parental control software you may have installed on the pc.

Many ways to get around this could be to:

Boot from usb using a linux distribution like ubuntu.

Disable the software using task manager.

Find the appropiate settings that often kept in the system registry.

Or quite often then most actually guessing the software's default password.

There is no 100% way to completly block a users access, as there are always workarounds so it's always best to be proactice when it comes to monitoring your computer.
